Joining this caucus will help demonstrate that you deeply care about issues important to your Bosnian-American voters. Today, there are around 350,000 Bosnian-Americans living in the United States, and as you know, many of those live in your district.

The Congressional Caucus on Bosnia is co-chaired by Congressman Russ Carnahan (D-MO) and Congressman Christopher Smith (R-NJ), two long-time friends of Bosnia and Bosnian-Americans. Over the years, Bosnia and Herzegovina has enjoyed bipartisan support in the United States Congress and all recent administrations have been involved in helping create a peaceful solution following the recent aggression against Bosnia and genocide in Srebrenica.
