 BAACBH joined the Coalition for the National Museum of the American People which currently consists of 91 organizations representing different ethnic communities across the United States. The story of Bosnian-Americans would become part of the Museum's exhibition and its mission to represent all of the American people. BAACBH is the first Bosnian-American organization to join the Coalition.
The Museum of the American People will tell the story of the making of the American people starting from some 20,000 years ago to the present day. The goal of the Coalition is to have the Administration create a bi-partisan Presidential Commission to study the establishment of the Museum. The Commission will be charged with overseeing the cost and fundraising plan to build and operate the Museum, the site of the Museum, and the development and context of the story that the Museum will exhibit.<< back << |
